The Nutrition Program helps seniors maintain proper health with hot, nutritious meal prepared and packaged in our kitchen at 30th Street.
Each year we serve over 88,000 meals at various dining sites in southeastern San Francisco, and we deliver about 130,000 meals to homebound seniors.
In addition to a balanced meal, our seniors are given an opportunity to socialize and share a meal in a community setting. These simple actions lead to healthier living and wholesome dietary practices.
A registered dietitian plans each menu to ensure the meals meet seniors’ nutritional needs.
